The League for Clubs is thrilled to announce the addition of the Gulf Coast Conference to our Spring/Summer 2025 lineup!

Through a first-of-its-kind partnership with the Gulf Coast Premier League (GCPL), a USASA Multi-State League established in 2013, The League has opened the door to a (future) system of promotion and relegation in the Gulf Coast region, where the GCPL’s top clubs are now provided a pathway to compete at a national level through The League’s Gulf Coast Conference.

From day one, The League has strived to better bridge the gap between regional and national leagues, and while there may not be a one-size-fits-all solution, the partnership forged between The League and the GCPL demonstrates the progress that can be made when builders engage in open, transparent talks about bettering the soccer landscape.

This idea of collaboration is a core focus of The League; we value our partners and what they build.  With grassroots connections to many of the largest youth clubs in the region and almost 30 amateur clubs competing across multiple divisions, the GCPL has worked for more than a decade to grow the beautiful game in the Gulf Coast.  The League is proud to be committed to this new partnership.  After all, together, we will build a brighter, more equitable soccer landscape.

In the near future, we will announce a full list of clubs that will compete in The League’s 2025 Gulf Coast Conference.  While the expectation is that 8-12 clubs will compete in the Gulf Coast Conference, we are always looking to build and grow, and if you have interest in joining our growth, please submit an inquiry at theleaguefc.com.
