TLfC releases 2025 South Region schedule

March 28, 2025

The League for Clubs (TLfC) is excited to release the full schedule in the South Region for the 2025 season. The region will be made up of nine clubs that will play in the Gulf Coast Conference, which will be split into two divisions, East and West.

The East Division will be made up of four clubs — Pensacola FC, Sowegans SC, Tallahassee SC and Valdosta FC.

The West Division will consist of five clubs — AFC Mobile, Gaffa FC, Gulf Coast United FC, Pensacola FC Academy and Union 10 FC.

The Gulf Coast Conference was created as a part of a partnership between TLfC and the Gulf Coast Premier League (GCPL). GCPL leaders were vital in the creation of this schedule and it has been a collaborative effort between all Gulf Coast Conference clubs to come up with a schedule and playoff format that has the best interests of clubs, players, and fans in mind.

Each club will play a 10-match league schedule during a regular season that will begin on May 10 and will finish on July 5. The top two clubs in each division will advance to the Gulf Coast Conference Playoffs. The top-of-the-table club in each division will host the other division’s runner-up in the semifinals on Wednesday, July 9. The two semifinal winners will play for the conference championship on Saturday, July 12.

The first two matches will kick off in Georgia, where at 7:15 p.m. ET Sowegans SC hosts Pensacola FC, and Valdosta FC hosts Tallahassee SC. One hour later, at 7:15 p.m. CT in Jackson, Mississippi, Gaffa FC will host Gulf Coast United FC.

Full conference alignment and schedule releases should be expected soon in the Central Region.
